2008-09 Dall Sheep Hunts
Our Dall Sheep hunts take place on Alaska's North Slope in the Brooks Range.
We hunt in 2 adjoining Exclusive Guide Use Areas, located
within the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. In the most years
we have been 100% opportunity on Trophy Full Curl Dall Rams
with over a 37"+ average. We have small personalized camps to insure you
of the best hunt possible. Hunting method: We will backpack out, or take
a short super cub flight, to a spike camp for a few days and hunt from there.
We will then return, resupply, and head out again in a new direction
if necessary. Many times rams have been taken right from base camp.
Hunts are 1x1 and 2x1. Accommodations are tent camps. We utilize several
spike camps in different drainage's to insure we are where the rams are.
We never hunt the same area more than once per year. It is possible
to combine Grizzly and Caribou.
Also Wolf and Wolverine. Due to the increasing numbers of Grizzly in our
areas, the season has been moved to coincide with the opening of Sheep Season;
August 10; therefore Grizzly will be available on all sheep hunts.
